Best Mom(s) in the world

The other day I was talking with Mia about Mother's Day and what we could do for the day with Ann. As we kept talking Mia asked a question to me. "Dad, Is my mom the best mom in the world". My reply was, "what do you think?" After a moment she smiled and said, "yes, yes she is. My mom and my Chinese mom are the best mom's in the whole world, and so is Leah's Chinese mom. If it wasn't for her we wouldn't have Leah in our family." I was totally taken back and surprised at her response as discussing her and Leah's Chinese mother was not in our conversation. Mia is really understanding the adoption process along with every ones role and how special everyone is or has been in her life. It made me very happy to know she feels in her heart, that her Chinese mother is as special as Ann is.
