Day 2 – The waiting game continues We had a meeting in the morning to talk about what to expect for the rest of the trip. We met all the other families that will be traveling with us to Leah's province. There are seven total families going to Jiangxi with us. After our meeting we walked over to the Bank of China to exchange money. We were there for three hours!!! We were then able to wire our money to Leah's orphanage which is a good thing so we don't have to carry all that cash with us. When Mark & I got back to the hotel room Mia was sleeping. I tried to wake her up so we could go to the acrobatic show but she was exhausted and tears started rolling down her face so in the end Mark stayed back at the hotel with Mia while my Mom and I went to the show. The show is amazing, the way those girls can bend makes you hurt just watching them. Right now it is 4:00am on Saturday, July 31st and Mia is still sleeping so that is a good thing since we have a busy day today. We are going to tour the Great Wall. It's going to be another hot and humid day so I am not sure how much of it we will walk. Only two more days until we meet our little girl! We are ready to get her now but we are so excited that Mia will be able to see the Great Wall and experience the Chinese culture. We have been stopped a few times and asked if Mia is from China. They tell us she is beautiful.
