We made it!

We made it! After a  13 ½ hr. flight we are now in China.  Mia did really well on the airplane. She even slept two times for about an hour each time.  Too bad mom and dad didn't sleep.  We met our guide and took a very long bus ride to our hotel.  The traffic here is awful, but being in a big bus gives us the right of way most of the time.  By the time we got to the hotel room and got checked in it was 4:15am US time, s we were exhausted.  We went to a grocery store while Marilyn stayed with Mia.  We were going to try and keep Mia up as late as we could but when we got back from the store they were both sound asleep at 6:00PM local time.   Mia woke up at 11:00PM but luckily, I tucked her back in and told her it was still night time so she woke up for good at 2:45AM local time!  So begins another long day, and we are hoping we can get a nap in before the acrobatic show this afternoon.
