Trouble with a capital "L". Leah is now crawling - yikes! She is going after everything. I need to really start child-proofing now. I don't remember Mia grabbing at everything this much but it has been awhile so I have probably forgotten.
No more leaving her in a room for longer than one second!!
She has come so far from the little girl who was put into my arms over a month and a half ago. Poor little thing couldn't hold her head straight as her muscles weren't developed as much as they should've been. When she was in her carseat her head would fall forward and that's how she would fall asleep. She is now thriving and giving MaMa & BaBa a workout.
Now for the bragging :) She can give five by tapping my hand when I put it out. She makes the cutest faces and her latest is what we call fish lips. She LOVES to eat whatever you give her and screams when she wants more. I am trying to teach her baby sign language for "more" so she stops screaming. She likes to sit in my lap and look at books. But don't let all this bragging fool you because she is a pistol. I guess we had it to easy with Mia because we now have the opposite!
Mia is doing well. She seems so grown up now especially when you look at Leah. Mia never complains when we are paying so much attention to Leah but I feel MaMa guilt alot. I try to split my time but it's hard so hopefully she knows and understands that she is just as important and loved as her little sister. I need to tell her that more often.
Yesterday (Sept 23rd) marked mine & Mark's 15th anniversary. We spent the evening with the kids at the zoo for the zoo's birthday. When we first got married we thought we would go to the Outer Banks in North Carolina every five or ten year anniversary since that is where we honeymooned but funny how life happens but I wouldn't trade it for the world :)
