We're Home

We made it home! We flew from Guangzhou to Beijing which was a three-hour flight. Leah did really well on it and took a little nap. When we got to Beijing we had about a few hours of a layover. We traveled with three of the Jiangxi families and we all stuck together thru the whole thing which was really great. We boarded the plane for our 13 1/2 hour flight. Leah was tired but couldn't fall asleep for a long time. I stood up in the back of the plane tyring to get her to settle down but all she wanted to do was watch the flight attendants and the people sitting in their seats. She finally did go to sleep for about five hours but not a restful sleep. Mia did wonderful again on the plane ride. She slept for a few hours a couple of times. The beginning part of the ride was really, really turbulent and even Mark had a bit of concern on his face. Leah was smiling thru the whole thing as he liked being bounced and after it was over Mia laughed and asked if we could do it again!

Mark & I didn't sleep a wink the whole plane ride home. It's hard to get comfortable with one kid in your arms and another laying her head in your lap. So needless to say we are exhausted. Mia & Leah both took a long nap today as their bodies thought it was night time. Mia is still up and it is midnight, Leah is trying to sleep but is having a hard time staying asleep. We are going to take turns sleeping hoping that we can catch up on some much needed sleep.
