Getting Back to Normal

We have been home for almost a week now and we are starting to adjust to the time change and being a family of four. I(Ann)caught some sort of flu bug and was hit hard by it on Saturday and was knocked off my feet for three days and today I am getting some of my strength back. I am so thankful that my mom stayed here and took care of the girls while I was in bed. She is going home today and I know the girls will miss her.

Leah slept from 6:00pm - 4:00am. I have never been so happy to sleep until 4:00am as it was uninterrupted sleep. Leah had to get an x-ray today and she did really well, no tears were shed. Hopefully they will not find anything on the x-ray. She is starting to eat some table food and baby food. She likes mashed bananas, mashed potatoes, french fries, applesauce and sweet potatoes. She is a little more fiesty than Mia ever was!

Mia is being a big helper around the house and with Leah. She is getting pretty tired of picking up dropped toys though :) Mia starts school on the 31st. She will either be really happy to be out of the house or feel torn that Leah and I will be at home playing while she has to go to school.

We are so blessed to have two wonderful girls. It feels like we have been a family forever.
