Dear friends and family,
The organization, Half the Sky, is a wonderful organization that was founded by adoptive parents of Chinese Children. They currently are in many orphanages in China training the caretakers in early childhood development.
All this e-mail is asking us to do is to vote so the founder, Jenny Bowen, and eight of the children can carry the Olympic Torch!! Please take a moment to vote.
Mia is an example of the good work, Half the Sky and their staff provide these children. If you get a chance, visit their website and read about them. It is amazing what they have done and now have been asked to do by the Chinese government!!
special note:
Be sure to use the same lower case and upper case letters, as in the code box when voting) click on the web link or copy the link into the address bar.
Here is Jenny Bowen's request:
Hello again,
Our volunteers in Wuhan had a great idea. It may be possible for some of
our Half the Sky children to carry the Olympic torch next year. I've
entered a contest sponsored by the China Daily Newspaper and, if I can get
enough votes from citizens all over the world, I may be able to have that
honor. If it happens, I will run with 8 children from 8 orphanages in
China. Believe me, I am no runner. But I would dearly love to give the
children a place at the party.
I think this will take you straight to me:

We need a LOT of votes. Please pass this on to your friends and family.
Thanks and love,
Jenny
