Back To School 2013

Its back to school time, and this year Mia will be in the 4th grade, and Leah will start preschool.   The first week for Mia was fine, without any issues.  She really likes her homeroom teacher, but she not like having to help out in the cafeteria at lunchtime.   It means she will have to hand food, she thinks is icky.   LOL
We figured Leah would be a breeze at going to school, given how out going she it, but the opposite has happen.  She doesn't want to leave mom.   We learned from the teacher she had a few tears during the first day, but never talked about it at home to us.   The night before her second day of school, wasn't very good.  She cried about going to school, but through some good thinking on mom's  part, they come up with a plan how they wouldn't miss each other the next day.   It worked for the most part, but she did have a few tears in class in the morning, but then was just fine the rest of the day.   It will definitely be a time of transitioning for her.  I only hope God gives Ann the strength to deal with it and Leah the power to overcome being scared.

Its been a long time since we updated the blog, but we had a great Summer.  Mia did some many camps, and Leah was busy each day with Mom.   We traveled to St. Louis this past August, and had a wonderful time bonding once again with Mia's travel group.   The picture below is from a family wedding we attending.   The girls had a great time, and danced the night way.   They surely are growing up fast.
