Outside of being sick on New Years, our holidays were fabulous. The girls received many nice gifts from Santa and our relatives. We had Christmas at our house this year, which was very nice. Its the start of a new tradition, as Mia put it. The day after Christmas we did go up to Manistee to see everyone there, and spend some special time with Papa and Nai-Nai.
Mia turned 9 years old last weekend. Its hard to believe, but not after you meet her. She is turning into such a nice young lady. She had her kids party at a local fitness gym, that houses a huge water park. I'm not sure, but I think we enjoyed it as much or even more, than the kids did. Leah is Leah. She enjoys life to the most and I think that's going to be her calling. She so loves her big sister. As Leah grows, she able to do more things with Mia, and that makes everyone so happy, especially us parents.
Nothing like playing in the fresh snow on a sunny day.
