Guangzhou

After a long hot travel day we made it to Guangzhou.  The flight was only a little over an hour but we had a bit of a wait in the no a/c airport and an hour long bus ride to the hotel.  I don't know how you would ever get used to the heat and a lot of buildings with no a/c.

Leah did pretty well on the flight.  We had one meltdown but that was thanks to her bad parents letting her play with a foil wrapped rice krispie looking snack that she poked her eye with.  Mia was a trooper again.  Mia loves teasing two of the dads that are here and they give it right back to her.

After we got to the hotel we all headed to Lucy's for dinner.  It is a great restaurant that serves American food.  It is so nice being here, it is as close to home as you can get here in China.   This is our last stop before we get to come home.

Leah had her doctor's appt today.  She did well with no tears.  The exam is not very thorough but they declared her healthy.  After the appt we stopped at a few stores along the way and bought some stuff.  We do not know where we are going to put it as our suitcases are stuffed already.

We hope to hit the pool here today.  Mia is looking forward to it as this is the first hotel we stayed at in China where you don't have to wear a swim cap.
