What's New with Mia

It is hard to believe that summer is over. For one last summer hurrah, we took a vacation to Manistee and spent some time at the beach. We also went to Mark's Aunt & Uncle's cottage for a day and went boating and swimming. Mia likes men and Uncle Kenny was no exception. She loved pretending he was a shark and she tried to get away from him before he caught her. She had so much fun and all the fresh air wiped her out so much so that she fell asleep with her chin resting in my hand on the boat ride back to the cottage.

Mia is enjoying school and she goes three days a week for three hours. She always wakes up so excited to go. She has made some new friends and a new "boyfriend". She told us that this boy just looks and looks at her. Sounds like we may be in for it when it is time for her to date!

When Mia grows up she currently wants to be a cowgirl. Her profession changes weekly sometimes daily. She also wanted to be a van driver (like her MaMa), a doctor (with Mark as her nurse)and an airplane pilot (so she could fly to Uncle Bud's house whenever she wanted to).

We just got back from the Circus today and Mia was in absolute awe over the whole thing. The first words out of her mouth when it was over was "that was so much fun!" She was nervous for the high-flying trapeze people because they could've fallen. Her favorite part was all the animals. She wants to be a cowgirl because she wants to ride on the horses at the circus. Mark & I agreed that it was worth every penny to see Mia's reaction to the circus.

Hope everyone enjoyed their summer as much as we did.
