Mia is a great little traveler. Due to storms in Detroit our flight was late leaving Grand Rapids so we missed our connection in Detroit. We had to take a flight to D.C. and then another flight to our destination - Connecticut and Cousin Josh's house. Mia was a trooper and faired far better than Mark & I.
According to Mia her favorite thing about our trip was having lunch on a "snack train". Uncle Ronnie took us on a train ride and after we ate lunch on a stationery "snack" train. Her second favorite thing was sleeping in Josh's fire engine bed. The first night there we were so whipped from traveling that we fell asleep to Mia singing in the next room and woke up surprised that Mia stayed in the room all by herself since we have never been to their house before.
We have been having a fun summer. Mia is taking swimming lessons and is really enjoying them and freaking out Mom. I flunked pee-wee pool so watching her is kind-of scary for me since I am sitting on the side not being in the water to help her but since BaBa has already taught her a lot she is a pro.
Give Mia some paper and scissors and she is on cloud nine cutting and creating all sorts of things. She loves doing crafts and sometimes we have to beg her to go outside to play!
