Happy Fathers Day

Just a short note to wish all Dads a very happy Fathers Day. We don't have anything really planned this weekend, but after last weeks adventure at the airport, we need some quiet time.

Ann always comments, that there is no way, she isn't your daughter. Mia acts and jokes around just like you. ( be that good or bad from Ann's side). I really do love spending time with Mia. Its makes me sad, to see parents who would rather spend all their spare time with adult friends instead of spending one-on-one time with their own children. Perhaps it the long wait to have a family of our own, but time with Mia is more precious than anything in this world. One day will come for Mia, when hanging around Baba isn't cool anymore, so I want to make sure I have plenty of memories before that happens. Knowing Mia....that time may be next week (ha-ha).
Have a great weekend everyone.
Mark

Waiting for #2 update:

Well....... the delays for the placement of children in China continues to grow. I honestly don't expect to be traveling till August or September of 2008. People who had an LID ( log in date) from the first week of November 2005, are just now receiving their referrals. It is taking an average of 3 months, to get through 1 month of LID's. Boy....is this waiting starting to really kill Ann and I.
