Life 3 years later.....

We have a high school Freshman and a 3rd grader now.  They have both put away their gymnastic careers to move on to other sports such at lacrosse for Mia, and basketball and soccer for Leah.

Mia plays goalie and is really enjoying the sport and new friends she has made over the last year of playing.   As she is new to the sport, she has a lot to learn, but loves the challenge and growth that goes along with it.  At home, she has become your typical teen.  On her phone or reading a book, and always hanging out away from the parents, but with that, I love spending time with her as she is a lot of fun and such a nice young lady.

Leahs caught the basketball and soccer bug.  Rarely does she go outside without either ball.  She is a busy body, so this suites her just fine.  If she isn't outside, she can usually be found doing crafts.  I have outlawed glitter in our house now, thanks to her.   She has made gallons of slime, and enjoys it every min making it.  Watching Youtube shows and basketball videos are another favorite of hers.  She is always finding something new to make or try out with the basketball.

Below is a recent photo of our family.  All growing in our own way, along this path of being a family.  This coming year will be a challenge for all with Mia being a Freshman, and Ann starting to work at Leah's school in the preschool area.  Life is about adjustments and growth, and over the last few years we have all had our challenges, but with support of each other, we continue to overcome.

A year later....

No excuses but life happening.   They are doing great and are growing like weeds.   Mia is almost as tall as Ann and Leah just turned 6 years old last month.   Life is a blur with us being so busy.  Below are some pictures from the past year.

Leah loves sports as you can tell

SO Sorry.............................

SO Sorry.............................

Well, life happens and things get put on the back burner.
I haven’t updated this blog in over a year.  I’m such a bad person.   With that being said, I’m glad to report everyone is doing fine.   They continue to grow and we continue to grow older.  LOL

Mia is now in the 5th grade and is maturing into an very nice young lady.  Sometimes, I have to take a step back and look at her, as I can’t believe how much she has grown.   She is very active in school, and it now learning to play the clarinet.   She has also joined a gymnastics team outside of school, as she felt that was more her cup of tea instead of your usual sports.   LOL  She is getting very good at gymnastics and loves the hard work and time that goes into the sport.

Leah is still the fireball of the family.  She is in her 2nd year of preschool, and is also in gymnastics,  just like big sister Mia.   She really love gymnastic, as well as soccer.  She watches Mia and wants to grow as fast as possible.  She tries to do everything big sister does, and isn’t afraid of failure.  She is one tough cookie, but has a heart of gold.

I'll try to do a better job at posting updates, but like I said...life happens.
